Hello you people.
We're out in Norway again, this is our view today taken badly on an iphone.
Time to start the summer album. Nerves a-jangle like the first day of school. Last night we sat round into the night listening to ideas and getting very excited, today we start recording for real. We currently have a pad sound up that sounds like Enya. This is as good a way to start as any. A wagtail was singing voraciously outside just a few minutes ago in a way I've never heard before. Again good.
That's it really. Don't have too much to say. But excited to be starting some new music for you all.

A little note from the bottom end:
Hello, just wanted to say what a beautiful day it is out here, a wonderful sun drenched Friday to start recording our "Summer" album. We arrived Yesterday the 17th of May, a most festive day, (apparently a bigger celebration than Christmas) as it was Norway's Independence day! a rather fitting arrival, we joked!
I woke up slightly groggy from last nights excitement of our late night listen and made myself run up the forest lined farm track (mostly up hill!! my attempt at a healthy approach, see how long it lasts). Then we embarked on our biggest most efficient food supply run to date, down the valley to Gran (the closest town) we came back with about 12 bags of shopping! The way to this bands heart is deffo through our bellys!
I then spent the last two hours re-fitting the sound post in my double bass, which arrived in ONE! piece (thank you very much NORWEGIAN air) but the sound post had fallen. So with a coat hanger, a piece of string, this bbq fork, a few forums and a heap of patience I think Ive managed to get it back into place! Feeling proud of my nimble fingers and perseverance, the fridge and pantry sufficiently stocked, basses ready for work, Im going out to the studio to see how the boys are getting on!

P.S. was also pleasantly surprised to have been told about a rather nice review from BBC Music (thank you Wyndham Wallace!) and that our album is on the spotify homepage! (thank you whoever made that happen.... :)
